I serve as a Freedom Pastor at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. People have called me “The Velvet Hammer,” a name given to me because of my ability to communicate hard truth in a loving, compassionate way. I have a passion for the message of freedom whether it’s through writing, speaking, training or ministry to individuals. I oversee the Freedom Team at Gateway and my heart is to see people set free and experiencing their destiny in Christ.

I speak regularly at Gateway’s Kairos; a Gateway Freedom quarterly event, and our Wednesday night topical classes in addition to training other churches (national and international) who desire the message of freedom. I believe we were created by God for purpose and absolutely love helping people to find theirs.

Writing is also one of my passions and I’ve written numerous devotionals for various Christian websites and magazines. I’ve also been a contributing writer to Gateway’s freedom materials, manuals and session guides. My first book, Letting Go, (Seeing Regret from God’s Perspective) is being released in the fall of 2012.

On a personal note, I have been blessed with two daughters, a son-in-law, two precious granddaughters and four amazing grandsons who all live nearby.
